How it works
- Eight questions, each from a check you can run in the stores yourself: is there a search phrase, do the leaders have ratings, do they charge, have they gone quiet, what do reviews complain about.
- Demand and money weigh the most, because an idea without them fails whatever else is true.
- A brand name or a licensed business caps the score: those are dead ends however good the numbers look.
Questions
- What score is good?
- 70 or more is strong. 45–70 is worth a closer look, usually at the weakest spot listed. Under 45, the idea needs a different angle.
- Can I trust my own answers?
- Only if you looked. Each question tells you what to check; ten minutes in the store beats a guess.
- How is this different from SideRadar's score?
- This scores your answers. SideRadar measures every niche from store data every night, without needing an idea to start from.
