What is a paywall?
A paywall is the screen that asks a user to pay — to start a subscription or unlock features — before going further.
Where it appears and what it says decide much of an app's revenue. Too early and people leave before seeing the value; too late and few ever reach it.
Paywalls and prices are the most common subject of one-star reviews in almost every category.
